Some of you might have already read Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine. I'm convinced that there's some grounds for believing at least part of what she set down in that volume, and therefore keep an eye on her online writings and activities when I can. One of the more recent of which was here:

This is the first time - and hopefully not the last - that I'll ask this nosy question hereabouts: what are you reading right now?

This is what happens when you step away from these networks for a few months, isn't it? :-)

...but thankfully, it's not into new housing (yet) since I like the one I'm living in too much. No, in this case, I'm starting to learn the ins and outs of assorted software and web services: Flock for web browser, Flickr for online photography, Facebook for networking...and I don't think that's an inclusive list. There should be some good news to share re: Local Hero soon, beyond the fact the second issue's pencil work is about a third of the way to "complete".
